What does the investment look like — do I need to commit upfront?
No lengthy commitments. Plans run month-to-month and you can adjust or stop with appropriate notice. We'll scope the right level of support and confirm the investment before anything is committed, so you always know exactly what you're working with. Starter plans begin at $790 + GST per month.
Who actually does the work — is it always the same person?
E-assist operates as a small, carefully selected team. Taylor matches each client with the right team member for their specific needs and oversees quality across every engagement. You'll always have consistency and a clear point of contact. Boutique-level attention, not a revolving door.
How do you handle confidentiality and data security?
Confidentiality is non-negotiable. We use secure password management (LastPass), strict data handling protocols, and a signed confidentiality agreement before accessing any of your systems. Your information stays your information.
When is the team available, and how do we communicate?
Our team is available during standard NZ business hours. Task completion timelines are agreed upfront so you always know when to expect things done. We work in whatever tools suit you: email, Slack, project management platforms, or a simple shared task list.
Do unused hours roll over?
Hours are allocated monthly and don't roll over. This keeps the arrangement clean and predictable for both parties. If your needs vary significantly month-to-month, a casual hourly arrangement ($80 + GST/hr) may suit better. We'll discuss what works.
How is this different from hiring a part-time employee?
No PAYE, no Kiwisaver, no ACC, no leave entitlements, no performance management. You get expert business support at a predictable monthly cost, without the overhead, HR complexity, or commitment of employment. Scale up when you need more, cancel with notice when you don't.
